Für die Umsetzung des Drehbuchs begibt sich die gesamte Crew mit dem Fahrrad auf eine Reise durch die baltischen Staaten.
Auf Begleitfahrzeuge wird konsequent verzichtet; das benötigte Equipment wird mit Fahrradanhängern transportiert. Drehorte, Statisten und benötigte Requisiten - alles wird vor Ort organisiert. Nebst den Drehs gilt es, täglich eine Strecke von 50 bis 70 Kilometer zurückzulegen, wobei nur der Ausgangsort, die Zwischenstationen und das Ziel der Reise festgelegt sind. Die genaue Route wird von Tag zu Tag neu geplant. Durch diese Vorgehensweise erhält der Film einen dokumentarisch-realistischen Charakter und lässt viel Raum für Improvisationen und Unvorhersehbares. Entstehen soll ein interessanter, kulturverbindender, nachhaltiger und nicht zuletzt umweltfreundlicher Film.


For the realization of the script the crew makes a journey trough the baltic states by bikes. We are not supported by cars - no! - we transport the whole baggage with trailers for the bikes. The film locations, the extras and the needed requisites - everything will be organised locally. Beside the shootings we have to travel daily 50 to 70 kilometer on our bikes, whereas just the start and destination is define. The exactly route will be planed new, day by day. Because of this approach the movie will have a documentary character and enough space for improvisation. It will be an interesting, culture-adjunctive, sustainable and not at least eco-friendly film.

Wie findet man heraus, wie sicher der Ort ist, an dem man sich gerade so aufhält?
Man schliesst sein Velo ab und lässt den Schlüssel stecken. Ein Beispiel wie es bei uns vor einem Restaurant ausgesehen hat, indem wir gedreht haben...
